Join us for the annual end-of-season garden gleaning! While we dedicate anywhere from 5-25% of the plots in the gardens to growing food exclusively for our neighborhood pantries, at the end of the season we harvest excess produce from our member’s plots, just in time for Thanksgiving!
If you have still-producing crops such as herbs, kale, and carrots and would rather donate your last harvest to neighbors in need, leave everything in your PGP garden plot and we’ll harvest in the week after the gardens close. In years past, this has added up to a few hundred pounds of food!
Interested in helping out? We welcome help from volunteers of all skill levels to harvest, wash, weigh, package/label and deliver food. Choose a garden/time below!
